Major Girl Sister Scheme: Recently, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra had announced to start the Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana for the women of the state. Under this scheme, the government will give Rs 1000 every month to the women of the state. The government will send the money to the accounts of the beneficiary women under DBT i.e. Direct Benefit Transfer.
However, this scheme has not been started yet. Along with this, such schemes are run for women in other states of India. Where they are given benefits. Many schemes are also run for women in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Let us tell you.
Ladli Behna Yojana is run in MP
In the year 2023, the then Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan started the Ladli Behan Yojana. The Madhya Pradesh government sends Rs 1250 every month to the women’s accounts through direct benefit transfer. The annual income of the family of the beneficiary women taking advantage of this scheme by the government should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh. To avail the benefits of this scheme, the beneficiary women will have to apply by going to the nearest Government Service Center.
These schemes are run in UP-Rajasthan
Under the Uttar Pradesh Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana, newborn girls who were born on or after 1 April 2019 are given a lump sum amount of Rs 2000 under this scheme. After this, within a year, when the girl gets all the vaccinations, then Rs 1000 is given. For this, those girls get the benefit who were not born before 1 April 2018. Whereas in the third phase, those girls are given a benefit of Rs 2000.
Those who have been admitted in the first class. In the fourth phase, 2000 rupees are given on admission in the sixth class. In the fifth phase, 3000 rupees are given on admission in the ninth class. In the sixth phase, 5000 rupees are given when the girl is doing graduation after passing 10th, 12th or is taking some other degree or is going to take admission in a two-year diploma.
Chief Minister Rajshree Scheme
Rajasthan government’s Mukhyamantri Rajshree Yojana: Financial help is given to girls through this scheme. Under the scheme, the girl is given financial help by the government for her education. The government provides financial help of up to Rs 50,000 to those girls. This benefit is available only to those girls who are born after 1 June 2016. Along with this, under the scheme, girls are given Rs 2,500 on their birth and their first birthday.
Kanya Sumangala Scheme
Under this scheme of Uttar Pradesh government, 5000 rupees are given by the government on the birth of girls. 2,000 rupees are given after the completion of vaccination after one year of the birth of the girl child. 3000 rupees are given on taking admission in first class. 3000 rupees are also given on taking admission in 6th class. 5000 rupees are given on taking admission in 9th class. Whereas 7000 rupees are given on taking admission in 12th class.
